Beachborough Road

Following on from my campaign to improve the safety of the junction of Beachborough Road, Cheriton Road and Cherry Garden Avenue, featured in the Folkestone Herald, the Town Council has now backed my concerns unanamously. A further letter to Kent Highways, from the Planning Committee (which has delegated powers over transport issues) has been agreed upon. I await their response.

County Councillor Roland Tolputt has kindly offered to take up the issue with officers at County Hall. He continues to work tirelessly for the town, and is a credit to both the people who elected him and, of course, the Conservative Party who selected him!
