Cameron elected new leader

David Cameron has been elected as the leader of the Conservative Party. I strongly welcome his election, having publicly supported the Cameron Campaign for some time, and particularly welcome the inclusion of strong figures within the party in the Shadow Cabinet. In particular, losing opponents David Davis and Liam Fox retain senior positions, alongside former leader William Hague who returns to the front bench.
