Coolinge House

The Development Control Committee of Shepway District Council has agreed with the Town Council's objections to the proposed development of 14 houses in the garden of the Listed Coolinge house, over-ruling Officers' support for the plans. The move was a particular victory for the Town Council, on whose behalf I spoke at the meeting, as without our objection the decision would have been taken by the officers without the Development Control Committee having to hear the arguments.
